The dive list is where you select the dive entry you wish to view or work on. Note that the dive list is always sorted chronologically.

When you single-click an entry in the dive list, the Main window will be updated to reflect the dive information pertaining to that dive. Certain functions, such as Delete and Print Selected... allow you to operate on more than one dive at a time. To select multiple dive entries, just select the starting item in the list. Then, while holding down the shift key, select the last item in the desired selection range, and then release the shift key. If you double-click on an existing log entry in the list, SurfaceInterval goes into edit mode where you can alter the dive information for that entry. Finally, double-clicking on a blank space in the dive list, allows you to add a dive entry manually. You can also select the Add item in the Log menu to add a new dive entry to the log. More info regarding adding and editing dive entries can be found here. Whenever you see a dive entry number in the list which is followed by a [bullet character], this indicates that graph data is available for the selected dive. Selecting a bulleted dive entry will cause a Graph button to be revealed in the lower right corner of the main window. Clicking on the graph button will reveal a chart showing a moment by moment depth profile of the entire dive as well as superimposed alarm indicators. More information about dive profile graphs can be found here. |
