SurfaceInterval allows you to import dives from dive log programs other than
SurfaceInterval. When importing dives, it is possible for an imported dive
entry to conflict with an entry already present in SurfaceInterval.
This preference panel allows you to specify how these duplicates are handled.
A duplicate is defined as any dive which overlaps an existing dive in terms
of starting and ending times.
Don't import the new entry
This radio button tells SurfaceInterval to skip the entry and to not import it into the current dive log.
Overwrite the existing entry
This radio button tells SurfaceInterval to import the new entry replacing the conflicting entry in the current dive log.
Add the duplicate entry
This radio button tells SurfaceInterval to add the new entry to the current dive log, ignoring the conflict. Note that selecting this option will make subsequent statistics reports incorrect. More information regarding statistics reporting can be found here.
