SurfaceInterval's Main window is where you will create, edit, and display dive entries.
At the extreme left of the window is the
Dive List which represents each entry in the current dive log.
Above the Dive List are the
Add,
Edit, and
Delete
buttons which allow you to manipulate the contents of the current Dive Log.
The window title will always reflect the name of the currently open dive log.
In the upper right corner is a counter which contains the
Current Surface Interval
at any given time. It will continue to increment until the Surface Interval reaches 24 hours. at which point it will read ">24H".
Immediately to the left of the Current SurfaceInterval is the
Time to Fly
counter. Unless Surface Interval is >24 hours, Time to Fly will indicate how many hours and minutes
remain before reaching the generally accepted time interval before you should fly after the most recent dive.
Once the counter reaches 0, the Time to Fly counter will then read "Now".
At the bottom of the window is the
Find
button which allows you to search the current dive log using various search criteria.
Although not visible in the presented screen shot, there is a status field directly to the right
of the Find button. Surface interval uses this field to display temporary messages to the user relevant
to the current operation.
