Screen Resolution		SurfaceInterval requires a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600.
USB to Serial adapter.		You'll need a USB to DB-9 serial adaptor, if you wish to make use of SurfaceInterval's downloading capabilities. We've done extensive testing with Keyspan's USA-19Q PDA Adapter and the USB to Serial Adaptor from Sewell Development. However, any adapter which includes a properly structured device driver for OS X should work. If you wish to download dive profiles from the Sensus dive logging device, We suggest you contact ReefNet for their recommendations on what serial adapter to use, since not all adapters provide consistent results.
NMEA capable GPS with serial cable		If you'd like to record GPS coordinates for entered dive sites, you'll need a GPS device capable of interfacing with the NMEA protocol, along with a serial cable for the particular model you are using. SurfaceInterval uses the NMEA protocol to communicate with your GPS.
