Dive Site
This is the name of the dive site. It describes a specific location within a given
locality.
Locality
This is the locality within which this dive site exists.
Latitude
The North/South coordinates for this dive site, as specified on a map or derived from a GPS device.
Longitude
The East/West coordinates for this dive site, as specified on a map or derived from a GPS device.
GPS button
Pressing the GPS button will allow you to automatically fill in the latitude and longitude values by downloading your position from a GPS
device compatible with the NMEA protocol. More info on the use of a GPS device is available
here.

SurfaceInterval keeps track of how many dives, represented in the current log, were undertaken at this dive site.
Last dive at this locality
The date at which you last dove at this dive site.
Access
This dive site may be accessible by either land or sea. In addition, you can specify whether access is
located in a public area, on private property, or whether it is owned by a commercial enterprise.
Amenities
Here you will list those convenience features which are available at or in close proximity to this dive site.
In addition, you can specify the cost, if any, for air refills.
Images
You can add an image of this dive site by clicking on the image well,
or by dragging an image to the well, and releasing the mouse button.
Image types supported include .tiff, .jpg, .pict, or indeed, any other image type that
QuickTime knows how to display. In addition, you can use any PDF file as your image.
The image that you add will be scaled to fit the image well, and SurfaceInterval will
attempt to maintain the original ratio of height to width. The original image on disk
is never modified in any way.
Be advised that the images displayed in SurfaceInterval are NOT cached.
You can move or rename them to your heart's content. However, if you delete the original
image from your disk, SurfaceInterval will no longer display it.
