Make sure you have a Serial to USB converter connected between the
Sensus cradle and the USB port on your Macintosh.
You will also need to make sure you have defined which serial port you will
be using in the Serial Port settings panel
in the Preferences window.
Once the hardware has been set up, you will select Transfer Sensus Pro...
from the Transfer menu or hit Command-Shift T on your keyboard.

The download will begin immediately, and you will see the progress bar track the download process.
Downloading from Sensus Pro takes approximately 30 seconds after which time the progress bar will disappear,
and your log will contain the new entries. SurfaceInterval will honor the
Duplicate Handling rules set in your Preferences.
Although the Sensus Pro is a clever device, it does not interact with SurfaceInterval during download other than
outputting the contents of its memory. If you inadvertently bump the Sensus Pro off its cradle during the download,
it will happily continue outputting its data for the full 30 seconds. If this happens, SurfaceInterval will notice,
after a brief timeout, that the data flow has been interrupted, and will give you the option of re-initiating the download.
Before you retry the download, its important to let Sensus Pro finish spewing data, by waiting for at least 30 seconds.
Otherwise, SurfaceInterval will receive only the later portion of the data, and will not import the dives. Instead, it will
notice a bad checksum, and present you with an error dialog. Simply allow Sensus Pro to finish, make sure it is firmly seated on its cradle,
and re-initiate the transfer.
