Make sure you have a Serial to USB converter connected between the
Sensus Ultra cradle and a USB port on your Macintosh.
You will also need to make sure you have defined which serial port you will
be using in the Serial Port settings panel
in the preferences window.
Once the hardware has been set up, you will select Transfer Sensus Ultra...
from the Transfer menu or hit Command-Shift-T on your keyboard.

Before hitting the Download button to commence the transfer, select which dives to download by selecting either Newest or All.
When Newest is selected, SurfaceInterval will abort the download as soon as it encounters a dive which already exists in the
currently open dive log. This is an optimization to insure that downloads take the least amount of time neccessary. This
optimization is possible because the Sensus Ultra stores the dives in chronological order. However, this leads to the possibility
of orphaned entries, if you have deleted older dives from your dive log. Should this happen, simply select All
item and re-initiate the transfer. This setting will remain in effect for subsequent downloads until you change it again.
The download will begin immediately, and you will see the progress bar track the download process.
Downloading from Sensus Ultra can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes after which time the progress bar will disappear,
and your log will contain the new entries. SurfaceInterval will honor the
Duplicate Handling rules set in your preferences.
If you inadvertently bump the Sensus Ultra off its cradle during the download, SurfaceInterval will notice,
after a brief timeout, that the data flow has been interrupted, and will give you the option of re-initiating the download.
Before you retry the download, its important to let Sensus Ultra finish spewing data, by waiting for at least 5 seconds.
Otherwise, SurfaceInterval will receive only the later portion of the most recent data packet, and will not import the dives. Instead, it will
notice a bad checksum, and present you with an error dialog. Simply allow Sensus Ultra to finish, make sure it is firmly seated on its cradle.
Then re-initiate the transfer.
