SurfaceInterval Statistics

Selecting "Statistics..." from the Log menu will reveal a treasure trove of information about your dive career. Beyond providing bragging rights, statistical information can be used to hone your diving skills by providing a complete history of various dive related parameters.


The statistics panel is divided into the following sub-groups. Note that the values displayed here pertain only to the currently open log file.

Profile
  • Total Dive Time
    • The total amount of time spent under water; displayed in hh:mm format.
  • Longest Dive
    • The longest time spent underwater during any dive; displayed in hh:mm format.
  • Avg Dive Time
    • The average amount of time spent under water per dive; displayed in hh:mm format.
  • Greatest Depth
    • The greatest depth encountered for any dive in the log; displayed in feet or meters.
  • Avg. Depth
    • The average depth encountered per dive; displayed in feet or meters.
  • Min. Water Temp,
    • The coldest minimum temperature encountered during a dive.
  • Max. Water Temp.
    • The warmest minumum temperature encountered during a dive.
  • Avg. Water Temp
    • The average minimum temperature encountered per dive; displayed in &pcnt;F or &pcnt;C.
  • Avg. SCR
    • The average Surface equivalent air Consumption Rate; displayed in cubic feet or liters per minute.
Dive Type
  • Boat
    • The number of dives which originated from a vessel.
  • Deep
    • The number of dives which were designated as "deep" dives, whether determined manually, or automatically.
  • Night
    • The number of dives which began between evening and morning, whether determined manually, or automatically.
  • Nitrox
    • The number of dives during which the breathing mixture used contained an oxygen content greater than atmospheric.
  • Altitude
    • The number of dives which occurred above sea level.
  • Rebreather
    • The number of dives which employed equipment used to recycle the breathing mixture.
  • Fresh Water
    • The number of dives which occurred in non-salt water.
  • Multiple Ascent
    • The number of dives during which the surface was encountered multiple times.
  • Decompression
    • The number of dives which required decompression stops. Not including safety stops.
Activity
  • Sightseeing
    • The number of dives undertaken for no other reason than to just look around.
  • Education
    • The number of dives made for the purpose of achieving skill certification.
  • Instruction
    • The number of dives made for the purpose of instructing other divers towards achieving skill certification.
  • Cave
    • The number of dives during which a natural overhead obstruction prevented immediate vertical ascent.
  • Photography
    • The number of dives during which photographs were or video was recorded. Whether film or digital techniques were used.
  • Rescue
    • The number of dives during which an attempt was made to remove other persons from immediate danger.
  • Wreck
    • The number of dives made at the site of a submerged non-natural object.
  • Drift
    • The number of dives where the prevailing current was the primary means of locomotion.
  • Club
    • Dives which were undertaken under the auspices of an organization for non-commercial reasons.
  • Search
    • The number of dives made for the purpose of location and possible recovery of a missing object
  • River
    • The number of dives undertaken in a navigable river.
  • Lake
    • The number of dives undertaken in a lake.
  • Other
    • The number of dives undertaken for reasons not covered by the standard interface elements.
